Chemistry The course awards a first-level degree in Class L-27 (Chemical Sciences and Technologies). Teaching takes place entirely at the educational and scientific centre in Via Vienna 2: classrooms, the library and the IT centre are located in the Educational Complex, while teaching and research laboratories are located in the adjacent building. The degree programme collaborates with numerous Italian and foreign universities. ERASMUS programmes are active with numerous European universities.The programme lasts 3 years. Each year is divided into two semesters. Teaching activities include lectures, tutorials (theoretical and laboratory), seminars and experimental activities for a total of 180 credits (CFU). The 180 credits of the course include a series of activities, some of which are chosen independently by students, aimed at preparing for the final exam, testing English language skills and acquiring professional skills. There is a final exam consisting of the discussion of a paper related to the experimental activity of at least 180 hours, carried out individually by the student in the last semester, under the responsibility of a supervisor appointed by the Course Council.Upon completion of their studies, graduates of the degree course in Chemistry will have acquired adequate knowledge of the various sectors of chemistry, in terms of basic, theoretical and experimental aspects, and will be able to use experimental methods of investigation, including in relation to applied problems.Graduates will be able to readily enter the workplace, operate in applied sectors of the chemical field, and interact with culturally related professionals. The degree in Chemistry creates flexible professionals who are ready to adapt to the constantly changing needs of the world of work.
